That time of year again where the weather is colder and the air is getting dryer(yes my English is bad now) drier in Beijing. It was pretty cold last year and I’ve been told it’s going to be even colder than last year :S From the top of my head it was between -5 C and -15 C last year from mid October with it getting warmer from late February to early March. Fun fact – the government decides when the heating comes on which will be early November I think. I hope this blog doesn’t get blocked because I said that, haha

Went to the Beijing Zoo last weekend and I have to say, I was a little disappointed. I know the animals shouldn’t be there to entertain us humans but if you have been you will know what I mean. The place was huge and all the animals were healthy. One thing that did annoy me was some people trying to get the animals attention by hitting the windows or throwing trash into the animals enclosures. I really wanted to throw one guy in with the tigers who kept throwing random rubbish in the enclosure to get the animals attention. Anyway London Zoo beats Beijing Zoo hands down in my opinion.

This past week, I’ve been running around like a headless chicken trying to sort out my work visa. Pretty much stressful travelling up and down on the subway between my work , visa agent and the Public Security Bureau but I’m glad to say it’s all being sorted and processed at the moment so should be ready by mid November *fingers crossed*. This weekend, I’ve done sweet FA, guess it’s better my for my wallet.

I’m looking forward spending part of Christmas here in Beijing as I was in Tokyo over the festive period for 2 months, which was awesome Time goes by so fast when you are old-ER… :S Wish I could go back there… Plan to go to Guangxi for New Years for a few days and spend it with the family

Some random things I need to do before 2010:

• Go shopping for winter clothes and gifts
• Book relevant plane tickets
• Save more money
• Travel out of Beijing more
• Keep my head down, work hard and player harder
• Keep hitting the gym
• Look for new music as all my stuff is old – any suggestions?
• Be a better person
• Meet more people
